About Our Management Training Program

The purpose of the program is to recruit and train managers in hotel operations, so the individuals are proficient in the Linchris Hotel philosophy of providing the highest levels of employee and guest satisfaction, career growth opportunities, and efficient hotel operations.

This program targets recent college graduates interested in a career in hospitality. The goal of the program is to accelerate the growth of the candidate and prepare them for a management career with Linchris. At the successful completion of the program, the candidate would be prepared for a management position as an Assistant Manager, Department Manager, or limited service General Manager. In addition to our robust Manager in Training Program, Linchris Hotel Corporation also offers internships to undergraduates.

Eligibility
  • What makes you an ideal manager in training?
    • You are intelligent and exhibit the ability to analyze situations and solve problems.
    • You have excellent communication skills, team leadership skills, confidence, and the ability to communicate with diverse individuals.
    • You have a strong work ethic and an unshakable desire to improve your position in life.
    • You are willing to relocate.
    • You have a great, positive attitude.
    • You can dedicate 8-12 months working in a competitive environment.
Management In Training Program Faq's
  • How long is the program?
    A candidate can anticipate completing the manager in a training program within 8 to 12 months. Training will occur at select-service properties as well as full-service properties with mentoring from our top-performing general managers.
  • How do I apply?
    Apply online by submitting your application here. Or, representatives from Linchris will be in attendance at several college career days throughout New England where applications will be available and initial interviews will be conducted.
  • What is the application and interview process?
    Applicants can apply at college career days or here. Applicants applying at career day will attend their first interview immediately following career day. A second interview will be conducted by invitation at our corporate office in Massachusetts. Applicants applying online may be contacted for a phone interview.
  • Is there housing during the training program?
    Candidates will be training at different hotels and they will be housed at the hotel they are training at. Accommodations are included in the training program however meals will be the responsibility of the individual candidate.
  • Will I get paid? Are there any benefits?
    Yes, candidates will be paid entry-level salaries during the program. You will also be eligible for the same benefits that are offered to our permanent employees, during your time with us.
  • What happens at the end of the program?
    Upon successful completion of the Management Training Program, you will be considered for a Management position at one of our hotels. The goal of the program is to accelerate the growth of the candidate and prepare them for a management career with Linchris.
