The ideal candidate is an intelligent individual who exhibits ability to analyze situations and problem solve. He or she has excellent communication skills, team leadership skills, and confidence. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, willingness to relocate and a drive to advance their hospitality career. Ideal candidates are students in their senior year of college or a recent graduate.
A candidate can anticipate completing the manager in training program within 8 to 12 months. Training will occur at select service properties as well as full service properties with mentoring from our top performing general managers.
There are several ways to apply to the manager in training program. Representatives from Linchris will be in attendance at several college career days throughout New England. Applications will be available and initial interviews will be conducted during career days. Applicants interested in the program but who do not attend one of the career days can also apply by submitting an application here.

Candidates will be training at different hotels and they will be housed at the hotel they are training at. Accommodations are included in the training program however meals will be the responsibility of the individual candidate.
Upon successful completion of the Management Training Program, you will be considered for a Management position at one of our hotels. The goal of the program is to accelerate the growth of the candidate and prepare them for a management career with Linchris.
